The first picture you see on the left is me first day working out with Andre (2020). The picture on the right is me today 2 years later over 70 pounds down. I remember back in August of 2020 I went to the doctor and got on the scale, and I could have cried when I saw how much I weighted. So, I asked my doctor to prescribe me some diet pills and she was against it. She was like you are young and I think with exercise and changing what you eat will help you. So, I went and got me a gym membership and it was a waste of time because I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t see any result with going to the gym. I would only be on the treadmill at least 30 mins and try to do other workouts but it still didn’t work. So, I told myself need a personal trainer. I remember Andre from when we use to work at Walmart together. One of my coworkers that was working out with him had got so skinny she was looking like a new person. So, I reached out to him and begin to work out in September 2020. Within the first month I lost 20 pounds I could not believe what I saw on the scale and within one month. When I looked in the mirror myself, I still looked the same. I continued to work out with him 4 days a week for hour. I would receive so many complements of how good I was looking but I still couldn’t see the result myself. I remember in 2021 going to Houston Texas with some friends. One of my friends took a picture of me I was so shocked of how small I was. So, it took myself almost a year to notice all this weight I had lost. I was so proud of myself I never thought I would be in a size medium shirt and size 9/11 pants. Meal Prep wasn’t hard for me, I literally ate the same thing for a year and half (bake chicken, and vegetables) Lunch I would always eat a salad. Surprisingly it wasn’t hard to stop drink sodas (Coke was my go-to drink). With this new healthy lifestyle of mines, it has opened myself to eating different foodsthat is good for me. I would tell anybody that Andre is the best and he will push you to your limited and he is not a mean trainer that is going to hurt your body to get result you want because, everyone body is different. I would say workout is now a hobby of mines.

  • Hello my name is Jzmayca Kinard, and my weigh loss journey started a year after having my baby. I realized I was going through postpartum depression and , I had reached my highest weight. I was over 200 pounds. I knew I needed to do something about it. I started looking into gyms but I didn’t know the first thing about working out because I have never done it before seriously. I started watching YouTube videos and I saw one of my high school classmate (Andre Collum) offering personal training sessions. I took a chance and messaged him to set up the first trial session. The first trial session went great and the rest was history. The hardest part about my journey was STARTING. I had so many things that could’ve or tried to stop me. I am a single mom so I had to find a gym with a daycare and a trainer who was flexible with me hours. I worked overnight so the only free time I had to work out was right after work but through it all I remained consistent & steady. I can now say I love my results not only physically but also mentally. Working out keeps me sane and leveled.

When I began my fitness journey with Dre in February 2021, I came in with the only goal of losing my stomach & toning up the rest. Well, at least that’s what I told him at the time because I knew no one would really understand what losing the weight of my past really meant. It meant finding myself again after a long term failed relationship, investing in myself more than I invest in others, no more medications for health conditions, and taking full control over my life. Yet, I still didn’t know how I was going to do it because I stayed so busy with working 3 jobs & being a full-time Grad student but I had to find the time because excuses was out the window for this project on me. So finally I made my decision & my one day had turned into “Day 1” which hit different than any other trainer I’ve been with because session lasted at least an hour, I was able to ask any questions that came to mind, at that time with this lifestyle change & I was given a meal plan to go by. The next day I had already began to change my eating habits. Within the first month of being consistent I was already down 15lbs. But, I wasn’t sold as client just yet lol. However, in August 2021, is when that changed, I completed my first squad challenge which is the same month I saw the difference in what benefits meal prepping consisted of. It wasn’t about me winning, it was about how hard could I really push myself as a beginner in this fitness life & of course I couldn’t let my team down. Dre’s work ethic, challenges, and passion that he has to work with his team is what showed me that I’m in the right place. Now that I’m almost 2 years in my journey, I have gained so much more than what I wanted to begin with. I’ve lost the weight of my past & more. I’m 100lb down from 284lbs. The place that helped me find myself was my workouts in the park…..I hate the heat but God always talks to me best when I’m alone. I’m no longer on any medications for health conditions & I’ve taken fully control over my life. This new lifestyle also taught me to love myself as I want others to. I’ve learned that I may not always be motivated but being consistent & having discipline makes all the difference in my new lifestyle. I went from the weight of my past vs. me to me vs. me. Believe it or not there’s a difference. But I wouldn’t trade that difference to go back to where I started. I achieved all of this because I chose NEXT Level Fitness by Andre Collum. Thank you Dre for being a motivator, listening to my millions of questions, challenging me in my workouts, & assisting me with creating goals that I initially didn’t even have for myself during this lifestyle change. You’re the best trainer out here & it’s because I said so! ✌🏾
